Being saved happens only once. We either truly believe or we are false converts (meaning it was never genuine). The moment we are saved, our Christian journey begins with the guidance of the Holy Spirit which lives in us now. We follow Jesus Christ and obey His Word out of love towards Him, not to earn or maintain our salvation. Obedience is the greatest act of worship or love we can give to God.
“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” Matthew 16:24
Grow
Be fed so you mature in faith and holiness, to produce much fruit.
“Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.” Hebrews 5:11-12
Read
Allow God’s voice to speak to you by reading His Word daily and obey what He says. David hid the Word in his heart to not sin against God.

Pray
Speak to God through prayer. Give thanks, share what’s on your heart or make requests according to His will and not your own lusts.
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Philippians 4:6
“Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;” Romans 12:12
Meet
Come together with other believers in Jesus Christ to worship God, fellowship and study His Word where it is used as the final authority.
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25
Be Baptized
Publicly declare your inner change through this outward symbol that represents what Jesus did for us through His death on the cross, burial and resurrection three days later.
“Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.” Colossians 2:12
