This can be through membership, doing good deeds, performing rituals, ceremonial practices, water baptism, observing certain days or following other specific laws. However, salvation is not something we can earn by what we do. Jesus Christ did it all and paid our debt in full when He said on the cross “It is finished.” A free gift by the grace of God for you to either accept by faith or refuse.

Salvation is not found in the act of reciting a prayer. It is only if you genuinely believe with your heart in the Lord Jesus Christ and called upon His name to save you, then the Bible says that you are born again. A new creature in Christ Jesus. Inside of you now will be a changed mind and heart with a desire to not sin anymore, but to please God by obeying His Word and living for Him through the power of the Holy Spirit. Remember this date as the day you became a born again Christian. A child of God!

Salvation is not found in the act of reciting a prayer. It is only if you genuinely believe with your heart in the Lord Jesus Christ and called upon His name to save you, then the Bible says that you are born again. A new creature in Christ Jesus. Inside of you now will be a changed mind and heart with a desire to not sin anymore, but to please God by obeying His Word and living for Him through the power of the Holy Spirit. Remember this date as the day you became a born again Christian. A child of God!

Heavenly Assurance
